There was Mzilikazi Khumalo, a warrior spotted by King Shaka Zulu because of his dominance on the battlefield, he chose Mzilikazi to be second in command in the quest of expanding the Zulu nation. As alliance they had countless battle victories, until King Shaka planned an assassination fearing that he could be his successor, however Mzilikazi fled with his people to form his Matebele Kingdom.
A design that connects Zulu and Matebele, these tribes share the same colourful pattern.
Mzilikazi - means the Great Road and his was One of the Greatest King in Africa.
